Update regarding the Bloom 2020 Abbotsford Tulip Festival
Bloom, The Abbotsford Tulip Festival will not open this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of our guests, staff, and community is of utmost importance to us. As our festival typically draws close to 100,000 people annually, we will strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the Provincial Health Officer regarding prohibiting events greater than 50 people.
At this time, the best advice we can follow is that of BC’s health and government officials, to simply “stay home.”
We look forward to the day when we can welcome you again in-person. Please remember, even through the cloudiest days we will all bloom again.
Stay safe and healthy friends,
Owner, Bloom, the Abbotsford Tulip Festival
The Fraser Valley is blessed with four wonderful seasons. And even through beauty is a year-round phenomena in these parts, there really is nothing quite like springtime in the Valley. Because spring is when Mother Nature gets all dolled up, and when our tulips begin to show their true colours.
Mark your calendars for Spring 2019! While here, why not make the most of your stay? Pack a picnic basket, or visit one of our convenient food trucks on-site (weekends only) and enjoy a fun filled day with family and friends. Besides a covered picnic area, Bloom is also home to photo cut out boards and a children’s play area. That’s on top of acres upon acres of our rainbow-coloured field that is every bit as impressive as it is decorative.
Looking to bring some of the beauty home? You’re in luck. Bouquets of fresh cut tulips will be available at our on-site flower market. For those wanting the full farm experience, simply wander through our designated u-pick area and build a bouquet of your very own. (For beginner or avid gardeners, bulbs may be ordered online and will be delivered in the fall.)
Did you capture a great photo at the festival? Or likely, dozens of great photos?
We’d love to see them. Post them on Facebook and tag #Bloom in your post.
